Responsibilities:

• Matching, batching and coding of invoices
• Track, process expense reports and complete journal entries
• Process cheque runs, vendor inquires and month end reports
• Verify financial reports and maintain accounting records
• Bank reconciliations and balance sheet transfers of accounts
• Contact vendors with past due invoices to collect payment
• Review and process payroll for full-time employees
• Assist with preparing reports by gathering summaries of taxes, earning, deductions, disability and non- taxable wages

Requirements:

• 3+ years of full cycle accounting and payroll experience in a fast- paced environment
• Accounting/Payroll Diploma or BA is required
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Takes initiative and has the ability to multi-task
• Solid understanding of the accounting and financial reporting principles
